Computer & Scrapbooking Help

Diane Kovarik from Cresco is looking for a student or students who are willing to help her with two tasks.  One students can help with both tasks or with just one.

1.  She needs someone to teach her how to use her new PC with Windows 8 operating system.

2.  She is looking for someone to help her scrapbook and/or organize her scrapbooking supplies.

All-Sports Booster Club Concession Help

Phil Henry is looking for students who would be willing to volunteer at the concession stand on Saturday January 10th at the Flanagan Wrestling Tournament.  Shifts are from 9-12 and 3 to close.  Contact Phil at 641.330.5817.

Concession Workers Help

Park and Rec are looking for volunteers to help with the concession stand at the 8th grade girls AAU basketball tournament this weekend.  Please contact Bill or Rick at 547.3443 if interested.

All-Sports Booster Club

The All-Sports Booster Club is seeking Silver Cord volunteers to help with the concession stand during athletic events this winter.  If you are willing to volunteer, contact Phil Henry at ohenrys@iowatelecom.net

Mobile Food Pantry

 Be at First Lutheran Church, 920 East 3rd Street in Cresco, at 8:30am to help with the Mobile Food Pantry. Come dressed to be outside to help unload the truck and deliver groceries to the consumer's car.  After food pantry, we will clean up and load recycling.  We should be finished by noon.  If you can help, email Mrs. Schmitt at school email or call at 563-379-6023 if you have questions.

First Grade Volunteers

The first grade teachers are holding a parent meeting/activity for their classes on Thursday December 4 from 5:15 to 6:45. We were hoping to provide daycare for younger siblings to allow parents a chance to attend with their first grader. We were wondering if there were any students interested in helping watch and do activities with children whose parents may need daycare for the time of our meeting and also to supervise first graders while we begin our meeting with their parents.  We anticipate about 90 kids total, but will have more of an exact number closer to the day.  If interested, please contact Mrs. Berg at jberg@howard-winn.k12.ia.us
