RAGBRAI Volunteers

Volunteers are needed to help with the Lime Springs Community Club's RAGRBRAI's booth. Set-up is at 9, but the crowds are expected at 10:30 on July 27th. Volunteers are needed from 10 until sell-out. Registration Volunteers

Where: Crestwood Elementary/Junior High and Crestwood High School

When: August 2nd - 9 AM - 5 PM AND August 3rd - 4 PM - 7 PM.

Assist parents during on-campus registration with eRegistration.  Helping them sign in and migrate through the registration process.

Art Show Help

Silver Cord volunteers are needed to help set up tents at 6am and take down tents at 3:30pm on Aug 6.  We really need boys to help with the tents and to help the vendors with their art items.  Call Joanie Buttjer at 563-547-2223.  If I don’t answer, I do have a voice machine and they can leave me a message for an answer and a phone number if they are willing to help.   I will need some girls to help with the art projects for children and again they may call me at the above number.  

Baseball Umps

Umpires are needed for a 7th grade AAU baseball team.  You can choose to be volunteer or paid. Contact Aaron Johnson at 563.379.2191 if interested. Game dates and times are listed below.

Wisdom & Wellness Program

Cheryl Dickman is looking for volunteers for Cresco's Wisdom and Wellness program. The dates are June 5th - June 30th Monday through Friday, 8:30am until 1:30pm.

Volunteers will be overseeing and mentoring younger students on field trips, participating in physical activities, helping with the summer feeding staff at breakfast and lunch times, and cleaning up after meals.

Umpiring Help

Youth baseball team is looking for umpires for the home games. We can do Silver Cord hours or pay cash.... All games at East Park and are Double Headers..

Food Pantry Help

The Mobile Food Pantry will be in Cresco on Saturday, May 7th. The pantry comes to First Lutheran Church located at 920 East 3rd Street in Cresco.  If you can help, please be at the church by 8:30pm. We are usually finished by 11:30pm.  Come prepared to help unload the truck and distribute food items.  If you can help, please email Betty Schmitt at school email.
