Art in the Park Help

Carrie Leff is looking for some help this summer with Art in the park. She needs volunteers to assist kids with activities, helping to keep them on task and involved in the activities that are available. Helping refill supplies, like paint and paper etc. Set up and clean up help would also be greatly appreciated.

Adopt a Highway Help

The Prairie Springs Recreational Trail committee is seeking volunteers to help with Adopt a Highway ditch clean-up on Saturday May 19 at 8am. Volunteers should meet at the NICC parking lot dressed for the weather and wearing gloves. Contact Tim Wolter if interested at 563.419.8081.

Last Track Meet Help

Last track meet of the year tomorrow night, Junior High Boys beginning at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, May 3rd. 

Last opportunity for Silver Cord Hours, which will get you started for next year's totals!

Track Meet Assistance

This Thursday Crestwood hosts their only Co-ed track meet of the season on April 26th.

In order to run this track meet efficiently, we need some volunteers!

If you would like to earn some silver cord hours and come help out at the track meet please let me know.  The hours would be from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M.

We need some help in these areas:

Discus

Shot Put

Long Jump 

High Jump

You will also receive a meal ticket courtesy of the All Sports Boosters!

Special needs Association Dance Help

The Special Needs Association is hosting their spring dance on Sunday, April 15th from 1-4 at the Expo Building.  They could use some silver cord students to help with crafts, games, and lunch at the end of the afternoon.  Interested students can email Mrs. Schmitt at bschmitt@howard-winn.k12.ia.us

Babysitting

On Tuesday, April 10 from 5:45-7:15, the first grade teachers will be having a parent meeting. They need some volunteers to help with babysitting younger siblings that parents may leave with them. Please contact Mrs. Berg at jberg@howard-winn.k12.ia.us if you would be interested in helping.
