Cresco Community Theater Volunteers

Kelly Bartling and David Gosch are directing The Addams Family this summer and would like to extend the offer for students to earn Silver Cord hours for helping with set design, set construction, and costumes.  Interested students should reach out Kelly at 319-404-8008 or Dave at 563-203-0122. 

Christmas in Lime Springs

 Silver cord workers are needed for Christmas in Lime Springs Sunday, December 3 from 10:30 AM until 4 PM At the Lime Springs community center. Lime Springs Halloween Party Volunteers

 Silver Cord workers are needed for the Lime Springs Kids Halloween party on Saturday, Oct. 28 at the Lime Springs Community Center.  The party will take place from 1-4 pm and help would be needed for the half hour before and after the party for set-up and clean up.  Workers will play games and serve food and prizes etc.  Costumes would be appreciated but not required.

Volunteers for Immanuel Lutheran

On Wednesday evenings, Immanuel Lutheran will have a meal starting around 5:15, class that begins at 5:45, and worship that begins at 7:00. They need volunteers to assist the teachers in our classrooms with our curriculum. Volunteers do not need to be Lutheran or even Christian to help out, just a willingness to assist our teachers create a great environment for learning and growth.

Schley Cheese Fest Volunteers

 The organizers of Schley Cheese Fest are seeking volunteers for the event on September 16. They need to help serve food, maybe help with organizing games or passing out t-shirts.  Volunteers will be scheduled in shifts from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Please contact Joann Mrachek at 641-330-5473. 

YSF Concession Help

YSF is looking for volunteers for the jamboree coming up on Saturday, August 26 from approximately 10:00am-4:00pm. Please contact Heather O'Brien at 641-229-6812 if interested. Volunteers can do part of the day or the whole day.

Czech Days Volunteers

The organizers of Czech Days, held in Protivin on August 18-20 are hosting a parade on Saturday morning August 19.  Due to the parade and many of our parish and community volunteers already volunteering to put on the event, we are searching for a group or organization that needs/wants volunteer hours.  This group would help us direct traffic into town and park cars Saturday morning before the parade, likely from 7am-11am. If interested in volunteering, please contact Randy Swestka at 563.203.1717.
