Tech Help with iPads

Tech Dept. Help Needed

The Crestwood HS Tech Dept is looking for volunteer workers to assist with the student laptops the minimum is 9 workers for Thurs. July 18th with the maximum of 18 workers. If we are not finished, our carryover we will start up later Fri. July 19th. afternoon. If interested contact hklenke@howard-winn.k12.ia.us.

Ridiculous Days Help

The Chamber is looking for Silver Cord volunteers to help with the MooMobile On Friday July 19th from 9 to 5pm.  Students can volunteer for the entire day or part of the day.  Contact Peggy or Hillary at 547-2025.

Moo Mobile Volunteers

The Kiwanis Club is looking for volunteers to help with the Moo Mobile on Saturday June 29th (that's during fair) from 9:30am to 10pm.  Individuals will work in 2.5 hour shifts and can work as many shifts as they would like.

Family Fun Help Needed

Family Fun Night will be on August 6th from 4-8pm at the Fairgrounds.  Students are needed to assist the local police department in fingerprinting young children.  If interested, please contact Sgt. David Godman at 507-421-7496.

Art Council Needs Volunteers

Joanie Buttjer with the Cresco Arts Council and Art Fair needs volunteers.

#1.  She would like a general list of people who are interested in helping the Art Council with various activities.  If you would like to be on the list, please call her at 547-2223.

#2.  The Art Council needs help with the Art Fair on August 4.  They would like 4 boys to help with set-up at 6am and with tear down at 4pm.  Additionally they need musical performers, both instrumental and vocal, to perform at the art fair.  Please contact Joanie at 547-2223.

Day Care Help Needed

The Parent Advisory Committee would like students available to help out with an after school event. On Wednesday, May 29th they plan to host a "social" gathering from 3:30-4:00 for the parents that have been active volunteers in the classrooms for reading this year. They're looking for students willing to help provide daycare for those parents that may need to bring their child(ren) along (the event is come & go). The high schoolers could possibly take the students outside (weather permitting or to a K. classroom). Contact Clarissa Einck atceinck@howard-winn.k12.ia.us if interested.
