Babysitting for Conferences

Mrs. Grimm, the elementary principal, is seeking volunteers to babysitting for Parent-Teacher conferences on Thursday, February 15th from 4:00-8:00 in the gym.  Please contact Mrs. Grimm at sgrimm@howard-winn.k12.ia.us if interested.

Volunteers for Waffle Breakfast

Six volunteers are needed to help serve at the Cresco Community Lions Dad's Belgian Waffle Breakfast on Sunday Feb. 25 from 8:30am-12:30pm. If interested, please contact Don Wearda at 547.5817.

Music Contest Serving Help

Ms. Parks would like 5 - 7 students from 5pm to 7pm on January 16. 

Duties would include serving approximately 25 music program directors from various schools around northeast Iowa, cleaning up, moving tables etc.  

Junior High Boys Basketball and Wrestling Help

If you would like to help out and earn Silvercord hours and Activity Worker Passes (sandwich and drink from concessions) there is an opportunity to work the scorer's table during Junior High Boys Basketball and Wrestling.

Fundraising Distribution

The elementary is seeking help with handing out our Fundraising products to parents in the elementary cafeteria. We need help from 3:15 to 6:00 on Monday, November 20. Parents come to the cafeteria and give you their name, all you have to do is find their pile and bring it to the front table, or if they have a lot of materials help them carry it to their car. Please contact Elementary Principal Sara Grimm if you able to help.

Adopt-A-Highway Volunteers

Prairie Springs Recreational Association is seeking volunteers to help with highway litter removal on Saturday October 21st at 9am. Meet at the NICC center parking out. Dress for the weather and bring gloves. If interested in helping, please contact Tim Wolder at 563.419.8081.
