Daycare Help Needed

Hello Everyone!

I may know some of you but in case not my name is Jazmon and I am the Child Abuse Prevention Coordinator and Child Advocate at Helping Services. We are currently starting a new part of our programming called Active Parenting Support Groups. These are once a month parenting support groups where we will discuss lots of different parenting topics. We are currently looking for volunteers to help with daycare during the time the parents are in the groups. We provide the support groups once a month in Howard, Allamakee, and Winneshiek. I will list the dates times and locations below. If you have any interest in helping with daycare any of the days or know someone who may be interested please contact me either through e-mail or phone at (563) 380-1300.

Winneshiek

Dates: May 9^th, June 6^th,  July 11^th, August 8^th, and  September 5^th

Time : 5:45-8

Location: May 9^th is at the Decorah Helping Services office. Other locations are currently unknown.

Allamakee

Dates: May 16^th, June 13^th, July 18^th, August 15, and September 12^th

Time: 5:45- 8

Location: Waukon Hospital

Howard

Dates: May 30^th, June,27^th, July 25^th, August 22^nd,  September 19^th

Time 5:45-8

Location: Cresco Hospital.

Summer Program Help

Howard Winn CSD will again be offering the summer program for students.  Ms. Dickman needs silver cord volunteers to work with kids doing activities such as sports, cooking healthy, and supervising field trips.  She needs several volunteers from June 10 through June 28th.  The times are from 8am to 1pm and from 9am to 11am.  She is willing to work around driver's education and softball/baseball schedules.  If you are interested in volunteering, please email Ms. Dickman at cdickman@howard-winn.k12.ia.us

Notre Dame Needs Noodle Makers!

Come to the Notre Dame church basement tomorrow, Saturday April 6th, and help make noodles for the fair stand.  Come anytime between the hours of 9 AM - 2 PM.
