Quilt Auction Help

Carol Foley is Chairman for the Hospital Auxiliary Quilt Auction on Sat. Sept. 21st during the Norman Borlaug Fest.  She needs 3 guys and 3 gals to hold up the quilts on the stage during the bidding of each quilt from 12:30pm to 4pm.  
   Volunteers need to report at the Big White Tent in the parking lot by the stop lights. The TPD will be there to take a group pix for the      paper.    
Dress Code -  School Blue Crestwood T-Shirts  -  Black knee length shorts or capris or slacks, black jeans if they do not own black items, Blue
jeans are acceptable, but NO holes in them.  NO FLIP-FLOPS!!  Sandals or sneakers OK.  All of the Adult Aux. members will be using the same dress code.

Be sure they bring their Papers with them so I can sign that they did appear.  

Volunteers Needed to Help with Triathlon

Tj Casper is looking for volunteers to help with the Cresco Fitness Center Sprint Triathlon and Triathlon Event. He needs 7-10 volunteers to help hand out water, put up route signs, patrol the route during the event, and other "like" duties. He needs volunteers from 12pm to 4-5ish pm. Book Fair Help Needed

Mrs. Vachta is looking for silver cord students that would be interested in helping with the bookfair on Wednesday Aug. 21st 7:00 to 8:30pm.   They would be helping teachers gather books that are on teachers' lists of books that they want.  Please email Mrs. Vachta at mvachta@howard-winn.k12.ia.us if interested.

moving help needed

Marla Johnson would like 10-20 volunteers to travel to Iowa City to help with loading auditorium seats for the Cresco Theater on Saturday August 24th.  Volunteers would leave in the morning.  Call Marla at 563-203-0208 by Thurs. Aug. 22nd if interested.  

RHSHC is looking for Silver Cord Volunteers

Regional Health Services of Howard County is looking for volunteers to help at their annual employee picnic on Sept. 25 from 4:30 to 7:30pm.  Volunteers will help set up games, then run the games for employee's children during the picnic, and then will help with clean up. They will get a free meal out of the deal too!
