Landscaping Help

Notre Dame Parish in Cresco has a service opportunity this Saturday, August 30th at 9:00 AM for any interested Silver Cord students. Students would be asked to assist with clearing some plants and mulching around the Parish Office (large white house directly next to the church). End time will depend upon the number of volunteers. This is part of our "Connie's Garden" project to honor the memory of our late parish secretary Connie Frana. YSF is looking for helping working the concession stand on September 7, September 28, and October 19 from 12:45-4:45. Interested volunteers can text/call Heather O'Brien at 641-229-6812. You can work a part of or the entire shift.

The Kiwanis Club is looking for student volunteers to help with the Moo-Mobile during the Howard County Fair on Saturday, June 28. This would be a great easy way to earn Silver Cord Hours. Don’t need Silver Cord hours because you will have graduated, you can still volunteer. The sign up sheet is outside Mrs. Headington’s door across from the auditorium. Notre Dame Parish is planning to host a Baccalaureate celebration for our graduating senior class and are looking for volunteers to assist with the breakfast on Sunday, May 4th. Notre Dame Fish Fry

Notre Dame Parish in Cresco is looking for volunteers who would be willing to assist with our upcoming Fish Fry on Friday, April 4th at McAllister's in Cresco from 4:00-8:00 PM. The primary responsibilities would include-busing tables, serving, assisting with carry outs, hospitality (greeting guests, helping them to tables, etc.) and other duties as needed. LS Pool and Park Clean Up Day

Silver Cord Volunteers are needed on Friday April 4th at 4pm to help with the clean up of Brown Park in Lime Springs. If interested, show up at Brown Park in Lime Springs at that time. Bring work gloves!

Family Game Night Volunteers

The PTO would like to ask for Silver Cord volunteers for our family game night (flier attached). The event is Thursday 2/13 and helpers would be needed around 5pm until 8pm. Workers would help set up the games and snacks and then also play games with the kids/families. The event ends at 7:30 and then we would need their help cleaning up.
