4th Grade Classroom Help

Mrs. Mahr, 4th grade teacher at Crestwood Elementary, is in need of one student to come over once a week to work one-on-one with a student (boy) in the areas of fluency and comprehension.  They could come at any of the following times:

9:00-10:15

10:40-11:05

12:30-1:30

2:00-2:30

Softball Coach

I am looking for a couple of Silvercord students that would be interested in coaching a 5th grade girls traveling softball team.  Would like to get the girls practicing soon and we are planning on going to tournaments through July.  Any questions please contact Robyn Lane or Cheryl Dickman.  

Notre Dame Meal Help

There is a church dinner at Notre Dame on Thursday, Feb. 16. 

Volunteers are needed to  help in the dining room...pouring coffee, clearing tables, assisting elderly with their trays, etc.

We would need workers from 4:15-up to 7:00.

Mobile Food Pantry

The Mobile Food Pantry will be on Sat. Feb. 4th at First Lutheran Church, 920 East 3rd Street in Cresco.  Times: 8:30 to 11:30 am. Come prepared to be outside and unload the truck and deliver groceries.  Email Betty Schmitt if you are able to be here.

Elementary Art Volunteer

Mrs. Ortner is seeking a volunteer who is able to walk to the Kessel building and place preschool artwork into student portfolios once a week for 6 weeks. If interested, please contact Mrs. Ortner at rortner@howard-winn.k12.ia.us.
